1. About us and these terms
LexSpeakAI™ is a trading name of LexTalkAI Intelligence Ltd, registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17024893), with registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ.
These Terms of Service govern your use of all LexSpeakAI™ services including our website (lexspeakai.com), voice AI service (LexSpeak Voice™), and all document services (LexSpeak Brief™, Agent™, Para™, Counsel™, and related products) (collectively the "Services").
By using our Services, you agree to these Terms. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
2. Nature of our service — please read carefully
2.1 We are a technology service provider
LexTalkAI Intelligence Ltd is a technology service provider, not a law firm. LexSpeakAI™ is not regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) or any other legal regulatory body.
2.2 We provide legal information, not legal advice
Our Services provide automated legal information, procedural guidance, administrative support, document preparation, and AI-generated case assessments.
Our Services do not provide legal advice specific to your individual circumstances, reserved legal activities as defined by the Legal Services Act 2007, representation in any legal proceedings, or a solicitor-client relationship of any kind.
2.3 LexSpeak Counsel™ — Lex's informed assessment
LexSpeak Counsel™ provides Lex's structured assessment of your legal position — what the law says, what your rights appear to be, and what options are available. It is Lex's informed view based on the information you provide and our legal knowledge base. It is not a solicitor's professional opinion and should not be treated as such. For complex, contested, or high-stakes matters, we always recommend having Lex's outputs reviewed by a qualified solicitor before acting on them.
2.4 AI-generated outputs
All outputs generated by LexSpeakAI™ are produced by artificial intelligence grounded in verified UK legal knowledge sources. While we take care to ensure accuracy, AI systems can make errors. You should review all outputs carefully before use. For high-stakes matters, professional review is strongly recommended.
3. Eligibility
To use our Services you must be at least 18 years old, have a legal matter connected to England, Wales, Scotland, or Northern Ireland (our knowledge base is primarily UK law), and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
4. Your Case ID
When you use our Services, Lex generates a unique Case ID for your matter. This Case ID links your triage transcript, documents, and correspondence for that matter and is valid for 24 months from generation. You are responsible for providing accurate information and for using documents produced by LexSpeakAI™ responsibly and lawfully.

5.3 Payment
Payment is processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. We do not store your full payment card details. For one-off services, payment is taken at the time of purchase and documents delivered following successful payment. For subscription services, payment is taken monthly or annually in advance and auto-renews unless cancelled.
5.4 Refund policy
All products and services are non-refundable once delivered. This is because each product involves the immediate creation of a personalised digital service. By purchasing, you consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge the exemption from the 14-day cooling-off right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
Exception — material errors: If a document contains a material error — meaning it does not reflect the information you provided or contains a significant factual inaccuracy — contact support@lexspeakai.com within 7 days with your Case ID. We will remake the document at no charge or issue a full refund at our discretion.
Subscriptions: You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No pro-rata refunds for unused periods.
All refund policy terms are visible on our pricing page prior to purchase.
6. LexSpeak Bridge™ — solicitor referrals
Where you request a solicitor referral via Bridge™: we prepare a structured case summary to share with the referred solicitor; the referral is free to you — the law firm pays our introduction fee; any referral arrangement is fully disclosed in accordance with SRA transparency guidelines; the solicitor's fees are entirely separate from our fees; no solicitor-client relationship is created until you separately engage the solicitor; we do not guarantee the availability, quality, or outcome of any referred solicitor's services.
Products purchased alongside a Bridge™ referral (such as LexSpeak Para™) are subject to the standard non-refundable policy as the service has been rendered regardless of whether the referral results in instruction.
7. Post-Bridge™ relationship
Once a solicitor is instructed through Bridge™, the solicitor is professionally responsible for your legal matter. LexSpeakAI™ remains available to provide plain-English explanations of legal processes, document drafting assistance at standard prices, and support with matters unrelated to the referred matter. LexSpeakAI™ does not advise on the referred solicitor's legal strategy and does not interfere with the solicitor-client relationship.
8. Accuracy and AI limitations
LexSpeakAI™ uses AI grounded in verified UK legal knowledge sources. We update our knowledge base regularly. However, AI systems can make errors. If you believe any output is incorrect, contact support@lexspeakai.com with your Case ID. We will review and correct material errors within 24 hours. We maintain an accuracy register of all reported issues.
LexSpeakAI™ accepts no liability for loss arising from reliance on AI-generated outputs in high-stakes situations without independent professional verification.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to use our Services to provide false information about your legal matter, obtain documents for fraudulent or illegal purposes, misrepresent the nature or authority of documents produced by LexSpeakAI™, scrape or reproduce our Services for commercial purposes without written permission, or use our Services in any way that violates applicable law. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms.
10. Intellectual property
LexSpeakAI™, LexSpeak™, and all related product names are trademarks of LexTalkAI Intelligence Ltd under examination at the UK IPO (Nice Classes 9, 35, 42, 45). The software, design, content, and functionality of our Services are owned by LexTalkAI Intelligence Ltd.
Documents drafted using information you provided are produced for your personal use. You own the content of those documents. We retain no claim over their substance. We may use anonymised and aggregated data to improve our Services — we will never identify you or your specific matter.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: we do not accept liability for loss arising from reliance on AI-generated outputs without independent professional advice; we do not accept liability for the outcome of any legal matter or proceeding; our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim; we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive losses.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law including your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email where we hold your address and by posting the updated Terms with an updated effective date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you have a complaint, contact support@lexspeakai.com — we aim to resolve complaints within 14 days. If we cannot resolve your complaint, you may seek resolution through the courts of England and Wales.
